http://www.google.com/cse" id="cse-search-box">

The Archdiocesan Council of the Lay Apostolate and Integrated Movements (ACLAIM) of the Archdiocese of Davao held the 3RD Grand Marian Procession in the year 2009 full of faith and inspiration from the Divine Power of God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The 3RD Grand Marian Procession gathered once again thousands of faithful people in the Archdiocese of Davao to culminate the Marian month of May with an offering of sacrifices and thanksgiving to God through the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Mama Mary as the Mother of God and our mother too is a woman of great faith helping us pray for peace and unity. Mama Mary is the hope of the world for all Catholic Christians.
Members of the ACLAIM with their Spiritual Director, Msgr. Paul Cuison, planned, prepared and prayed very hard for the success of the annual gathering of Marian devotees in the Archdiocese of Davao together in a grand procession.
The 3rd Grand Marian Procession commenced with a program inside the Holy Cross of Davao College gymnasium. A Eucharistic Celebration after the procession was officiated by Archbishop Fernando Capalla at the San Pedro Cathedral.
The Our Lady of Manaoag Prayer Community led the faithfuls in the enthronement of the Holy Bible, followed by singing of hymns and saying of prayers in praise and in worship to God.
Mr. Ed Pacana of the Archdiocesan Council of the Lay Apostolate and Integrated Movements, welcomed everyone to the blessed occasion. Meanwhile, the opening remarks were given by Msgr. Paul A. Cuison himself.
A Marian symposium was graced by heart-warming speakers of the Archdiocese of Davao, namely: Rev. Fr. Bong Dublan, Dr. Mike T. Manalaysay, and Dr. Ligaya Acosta, giving more enlightenment to Marian devotees present.
Songs for Mama Mary and Jesus were heartily rendered by Sta. Ana and St. Joseph Choirs which inspired Marian devotees all over the Archdiocese to strengthen more their faith to God with their continuous love for the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God. Unforgettably, the song “Maria, Rayna sa Pilipinas” invited one and all to an expression of faith that can move mountains.

Prepare to be Pampered by Yurie

She has a lot of heart-warming stories to tell about her journeys in life. The many ups and downs she has encountered made her a lady with a big heart. Aside from her inspiring generosity to her family, friends and relatives, Yurie Aparis Bernadas, believes in donning impeccable beauty vis-à-vis a fine attitude and compassion for people which will make her a desirable person to be with the whole day long.

Being a cousin to her would surely push me to be quiet bias when it comes to speaking of her courage to keep moving on in spite turbulent trials. All those tribulations challenged her and often times invited her to give up. But all of it never succeeded in pinning her down, because now she manages to keep herself busy by expressing her passion through things she love most – beauty and generosity.

Now that Yurie has opened her newest baby – YURIE SALON & SPA – she has achieved one purpose, that is, helping talented young individuals in her community to gain work and develop the sense of industriousness. The opportunity given by Yurie Salon & Spa to these budding potentials in the beauty industry provided them weekly income that would help feed their families and augment their needs for schooling and survival. Most of all, the experiences they will continuously receive upon practicing their craft will enhance them to the best in their chosen field.

Yurie Salon & Spa, located in McArthur Highway, Matina, Davao City (fronting the University of Mindanao Matina Campus), offers services for beauty and relaxation. For hair care, it offers tempting hair cut, hair glossing with hot oil treatment, hair color with different variants, hair spa, high lights and hair cellophane for both men and women, and affordable hair rebonding. It also provides customers with irresistible hand and foot care such as foot spa, pedicure and manicure. But most of all, its unique offering is no less than galvanic spa treatment and relaxing body massage.

The story of Yurie Salon & Spa and Yurie herself doesn’t rest there, for in fact, a life built on the joy of helping others and sharing your talents is a way to a lifetime called forever.

INTERACTIVE WATER FUN FOR EVERYONE!

The sophisticated and beautiful friend of mine, Jocelyn Nefiel, who happens to be the Operations Manager of one of the latest family resort in the south of Davao City, surprised me much when she announced that Campo Agua is born. At first I thought of her having her first child, but I was wrong. Trying to decipher the name, I thought of a hint that it is a new resort to look forward of going to where you can experience exciting water moments.

Food! Fishing! Interactive Water Fun! These are what Campo Agua is all about. Delicious foods served in a delectable manner can surely melt your heart out as the sun rises to its grandest glory at lunch time. Fresh fishes you can personally pick from your fishing escapades at its ponds will find you the chance of a lifetime just like having a dynamic commune with elusive aqua creatures converted into sumptuous seafood dishes you can’t resist.

The swimming pool at Campo Agua is seemingly far different from all the swimming pools in town. It is not as deep as you usually expects from a swimming pool because its depth only measures 2-3 feet, which for you is only damn good for children. But if you’ve got the child in you, a feeling of elation will undoubtedly tickle you fondness for sprinkles and splashes once you soak (no diving!) yourself in Campo Agua swimming pool.

Campo Agua is located in Sirawan, Toril, Davao City. As Lyn-lyn graciously pronounced, Campo Agua is a family-oriented resort, boasting of a swimming pool with built-in showers, slides and fun fountains for the children. Surrounded by trees and inland ponds, Campo Agua is an ideal location for seminar, functions, and all kinds of celebrations. It is also perfect for a good, fun swim for the whole family.

Lyn-lyn added, “other attractions available in Campo Agua are the tilapia ponds where you can fish to your heart’s delight, and the crocodile farm which houses more than 300 captivity-bred crocodiles. Delicious dishes in their menu include different preparations of tilapia and hito.”

Campo Agua is open from 7:00 o’clock in the morning until 5:00 PM. Book your reservations at 291-2792, and bring along friends and family. You may also contact Jocelyn Nefiel, Operations Resort Manager, Campo Agua Resort, 0918-9337058 and 09228279358.
